What is Instagram DM automation?

Instagram DM automation means messages are answered for you by rules you set: when someone sends a keyword, comments on a post or replies to a story, a prepared reply goes out straight away, day or night. Creators use it to deliver freebies and links, coaches to book calls, and shops to answer “price?” without keeping the app open all day.

AiHopper does this through Instagram's official API, the same way Meta-approved tools work. It respects Instagram's messaging rules for you, such as the 24-hour reply window and the one private reply allowed per comment, so your account stays in good standing.

Automation that still feels personal

Messages can use the person's first name and username, you can rotate several reply variations so answers never look copy-pasted, and every conversation stays visible in your inbox. When a real question comes in, hand it to yourself and reply by hand. The automation won't talk over you.

Questions

Is Instagram DM automation allowed?

Yes, when it goes through Instagram's official API, which is what AiHopper uses. Instagram's messaging rules (reply windows, one private reply per comment) are applied for you.

Do I need a Business or Creator account?

Yes. Instagram only offers messaging automation to professional accounts. Switching is free in the Instagram app under Settings, Account type and tools.

Can AiHopper send links in DMs?

Yes. Put any link in a message. Links can be tracked per person, so you can see who opened them.

Is AiHopper an alternative to ManyChat?
