How comment-to-DM works on Instagram

When someone comments on your post, Instagram lets a business account send that person one private reply. AiHopper uses it to send your DM the moment the keyword arrives. If they answer, the chat opens for 24 hours and follow-up messages can go out too. The automation tester shows exactly which messages will be sent in each case.

Comments without your keyword are left alone, or answered by AI if you switch that on for the post. AI replies to comments are capped per account per hour, so a viral Reel can't turn into a flood of replies.

How fast is the reply?

Usually within a few seconds of the comment reaching Instagram's webhook.

Can I reply only on certain Reels?

Yes. Choose any number of posts and Reels, or leave it on all of them.

Will it reply to the same person twice?

Each comment is answered once, even if Instagram sends it again. You can also set a cooldown so a person is only answered once in a while.

Does it work on carousels and photo posts?
